Welcome to Berlin! We would like to invite you to take a closer look at Berlin,

 the capital city of Germany, where everybody feels at home. Berlin 

is the biggest of Germany and Europe.

 

Places to visit

Undoubtedly the most interesting museum in the German capital that houses 

some of the most famous antiquitiesin the world, took its name from the famous

 Altar of Pergamon that adorns the main entrance (unfortunately due to renovation

it will not be available to the public for years to come. 

It houses three important collections, the collection of Greek and Roman

 antiquities, the collection of antiquities from the Near East and the collection

 of Islamic Art, all products of German research and excavations.

The city is an important transportation hub as well as an economic and cultural center with numerous universities, research institutes, theaters, museums and architectural monuments
